
³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ junior Isabel (Izzy) Forster was recently awarded the prestigious by the to study at the in Norway.
The Rotary Club of Buckhead endorsed Forster’s application to the , an opportunity made possible through a partnership with the Georgia Rotary Student Program.
The scholarship for the six-week summer program includes airfare, university room and board, 12 credit hours of undergraduate coursework or one graduate course, and a weekend excursion.
The merit-based Otis Jackson Scholarship is awarded to ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ students who demonstrate academic achievement, athletic ability, character, and leadership — qualities of the late Otis M. Jackson ’24.
Salutatorian of ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ’s Class of 1924, Jackson was an outstanding athlete and leader on campus. He was captain of the basketball team and was subsequently elected to the in 1971.
Like Jackson, Forster is highly involved on campus. She is a member of the ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ Rotary Club, the Global Ambassadors Program, and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She is also a resident assistant and a member of the .

While at ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ, Forster also studied abroad at the University of Oxford and interned at the Atlanta Council on International Relations and the European Institute of Policy Research and Human Rights.
